Alt+Shift, encompassing Michigan’s Integrated Mathematics Initiative, is an Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Grant Funded Initiative through the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education.
Alt+Shift partners with intermediate school districts (ISDs) to provide initial training, co-constructed implementation planning, and subsequent follow-up support.
Alt+Shift is accepting applications for partnerships that will begin during the 2020-2021 school year. Due to the school shut-downs because of COVID-19, a deadline restriction has been lifted, although as always, the sooner you apply, the better.
Open applications include:
- AT Journey
- Comprehensive LIteracy for Autonomous Communication
- Foundations of Communication
- Foundations of Math
- Foundations of Math: Teaching Students with Significant Disabilities
- Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display (PODD)
