Many zoos are now offering virtual visits, which allows you select any location you like! Search the zoo’s website for links to virtual visits and learning opportunities. For example:
- The Detroit Zoo offers Virtual Vitamin Z, which offers online lessons, live cams of penguins, otters, falcons, snow monkeys, and prairie dogs, and coloring pages.
- The Brooklyn Zoo offers low-cost online classes.
- The San Diego Zoo has live cams of their hippos, platypuses, baboons, penguins, polar bears, apes, tigers. elephants, giraffes, burrowing owls, pandas, koalas, and condors.
