With in-person professional development on hold, our need for continued growth, skill-building, mastery, and exposure to new ideas and strategies does not. While we may be missing some of the Professional Development events we look for each year, some of them have gone online!

#TalkingAAC – Online Edition consists of a series of five 2-hour workshops that will take place online between September 2020 and May 2021. Register once and you’ll have access to all five sessions. Amazing, right?

It gets even better. These sessions are divided into two strands, each with incredible speakers that will challenge your thinking and help you grow. Take a look at our snapshot schedule. And, if you missed the September session, or any of the others, your $30 registration gives you access to the recordings and all of the resources.

2. AssisTechKnow On-The-Go provides an ongoing, continually updated series of recorded modules focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), educational technology tools and assistive technology strategies for diverse learners of all ages. Join our virtual series to inspire your instruction, challenge your practices, and learn new solutions that will help your students achieve! And each learning opportunity is 30 minutes or less and all for free!
Recordings will be added monthly, so check out the SESSIONS for the most up to date list of recordings.

Finally, if you just want short, simple bites of information or manageable strategies you can implement immediately, you may find Special Education Tips and Tidbits helpful. Two additional Tidbits are added each week, and archived Tidbits are linked for reference. Want to receive these Tidbits directly to your inbox? Just email kindysegovia@kentisd.org to be added to the list!
